Würth Canada Opens New Facility, Expands Workforce
Würth Canada opened a new 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Acheson, Alberta – the “first company-built and owned facility in Canada,” the Edmonton Journal reports.
“We’ve been experiencing double-digit growth in Canada, and we expect to continue to grow,” Würth Canada CEO Ernie Sweeney told the Journal. “We are expanding our business in Western Canada when our competitors are reducing staff. We are hiring sales and service staff so we will be out in front when the economy rebounds.”
Würth Canada is reportedly growing despite a 7% decline in auto truck and bus repairs, which accounts for 90% of its business, Sweeney said.
The new facility is located at #219, 26229 Township Road 531A, Acheson, Alberta. ©2009 GlobalFastenerNews.com
