Würth Service Supply Receives ISO 14001 Certification
Würth Service Supply Inc. received ISO 14001 certification for four locations: Indianapolis, Atlanta, Grand Rapids, MI, and Greenville, SC.
ISO 14001 is an international standard to guide businesses in developing an Environmental Management System to minimize their carbon footprint. Certification requires planning, implementation and operation, control of documents, corrective action and management review.
Würth Service Supply started the process in January 2010 with an employee team and consultant.
In addition to compliance with environmental laws and regulations, accredited companies gain from process improvement and energy conservation.
