The Würth Group reports sales grew 7.5% to EUR 12.7 billion in 2017, driven by growth in companies in Eastern and Southern Europe.
Operating profit rose 24% to more than EUR 760 million
“These figures motivate us and prove us to be on the right track implementing our multi-channel strategy,” stated group chairman Robert Friedmann.
“E-business is gaining momentum: so with our developments and services, which we tailor to the needs of our customers.”
In 2017, e-business sales grew above-average by 19.3%.
Würth’s global workforce increased 3.7% to 74,025 employees. In Germany, Würth’s employee count grew 4.3% to 22,620.
