“You Are the Ceiling” Fabricius Tells NFDA
“No organization can grow beyond the capability of the leader,” David Fabricius told the National Fastener Distributors Association. “You are the ceiling.”
Company leaders must begin by preparing themselves.
“Prepare your heart first thing each morning and before each meeting,” the international business motivational speaker advised at the NFDA meeting in New Orleans.
Participate in whole-person leadership development, he recommended.
“Commit to being a better leader,” Fabricius urged. “In times of great uncertainty, people are looking for leaders who express certainty, and who ask relevant breakthrough questions.”
“Prepare your heart and culture to connect with other people – customers, staff, suppliers.”
Who are leaders? Fabricius said “your dog knows. Kids know.”
